Dr. Sundar Balasubramanian is a cell biology researcher and has completed extensive research on yogic breath’s effect on human biology, and he is a certified yoga therapist. Through his pioneer research, he has made significant discoveries about the benefits of Pranayama breathwork. He grew up in Tamilnadu, India, in a traditional Siddha medicine practicing family. He learned Pranayama, yoga postures, meditation, and Kirtan practices at a very young age. He now combines this traditional wisdom with his scientific research training to make these practices accessible to all.
